These are the forum rules. Forum rules are, as you can probably guess, rules that count troughout the entire forum. Unless there's a specific thread from one of the staff members that tells you that on a sertain board one of these rules doesn't count, you have to follow these rules. Breaking the rules leads to serveral warnings and if you don't stop breaking the rules you'll be banned from the forum. Forum Rules
No 18+
Since this site is open for those who are >13 nothing sexual may displayed what so ever.
Role-playing
Must write two [2] paragraphs or more. Don’t put ‘She was walking along the lake. She pulled back her hair into a pony tail. She began to skip’. It’s annoying.
No Racism
Everybody must be respected, so please treat everybody equally
Vampires & Werewolves
Students and adults may be werewolves and vampires but you have to explain how you became one of those creatures. You don’t get super powers like: Fast speed or great vision.
Journals
You can not post in someone else’s journal. You can write in your journal up to two [2] times a day maybe three [3].
Dating
No one is allowed to date in their first year for any reason. You can’t just know someone for a week then go out with them and be “ily!”. This is major rule. You have to know someone for at least two [2] terms before you start dating.
Signatures
Don't make them huge. Make them normal size.
Keep younger members in mind
I already mentioned sex, but please also keep gross things [like dead bodies for instance] and things that may scare them away from this forum.
No one liners
Please put some effort in the posts you make. I'm not saying every post must be 2 A4 pages long, not even close to that. But make sure that they are at least longer than 3 sentences, I'm sure you can do that!
No double posting
The edit button was created for a reason.
Use the spell check
I don't want to see all kinds of stupid spelling mistakes. It's very easy to avoid them, just use the spell check after you've written your post.
Character Pictures
Don't everyone use the same character. It's really annoying. Don't every girl that uses a boy character use Zac Effron. It's really irritating that they can't find someone better. Be unique, please.
Spamming in PMS
Don't spam people in PMs. That's also annoying. Don't beg people to make you a signature and never use it. That's wasting time. Don't also tell five people to make you a signature at the same time. It's really rude to do so.
This is a roleplay board. While roleplaying some special rules count, as listed below.
Special Rules
Cursing allowed
When you're roleplaying you're actually allowed to curse. But I'll repeat it another time, please don't curse too much. I'm sure that it isn't necessary to curse in every sentence you write. Fighting is allowed too, but I don't want to spot threads that go like, Tom hit Bill, Bill hit Tom back, Tom hit Bill again.. and go on like that. Keep it as short as possible and with some variation.
No Sex
While roleplaying it's still not allowed to have sex. You are allowed to hug and kiss each other, but please don't go any further then that. There are some young members on this site, keep them in mind! Also if you have role-playing having sex you can have this site actually deleted by Proboards themselves so we stronly suggest you don't do that.
Dead/Suicide
I don't want every member of this site to end up being dead. So usually you don't die. There can be some execptions though. If you really want to die you can send me a pm. Tell me why you want to die and give me your plot. Only members with a good plot will be allowed to die. Nobody is allowed to kill anyone until it has been accepted by me (the admin) and the victim. Every person has to decide for him/herself what she wants to do. You may not write in your post, what another person is doing. [For example; Mary walked towards Sue. Sue waved at Mary. "Hey Sue, how are you doing?" Mary asked. "I'm doing fine, and you?" Sue replied.] If Mary made this post she was godmodding, as she decided for Sue that she was doing fine. [The good way; Mary walked towards Sue. She saw that Sue was waving to her. "Hey Sue, how are you doing?" Mary asked. She waited for Sue to reply.]
How to write
The good way to write your post is:
Sophie walked towards her class. What's my next subject? She thought. As she saw an other student passing by, she asked: "Do you know what our next subject is?"
I believe this is enough for now. I'm allowed to add/change any kind of rule whenever I want to. If I see you doing something else that is inpropriate, I can add a rule and send you a warning, even though the rule was created after the action. I hope that I don't have to use it, but this is the forums warning system, in case you break the rules.Warning System
1st Warning
The first time you break a rule, you'll get a warning trough pm and you'll have to modify your post.
2nd Warning
If you continue breaking the rule, you'll have to change the posts and you'll get a warning message displayed in your mini-profile
3rd Warning
When I find out you broke the rule another time your posts will be deleted and you'll be banned for one week.
4th Warning
If you still haven't learned the rules and you break the rule one more time, you'll be deleted from the site without any extra warning. If you manage to break three rules at the same time, I will use this system for each rule you break separately. It's possible you get deleted from the site because you only posted one liners, while you also had a warning for using sex and other gross things.
So; now you know the rules and the warning system. Please remember that I don't like to ban my members. So to make this forum a nice place for everybody, don't break them.. It saves a lot of effort!
